EnergySaver App Analyzes Household Energy Use, Saves Money

Want some help saving energy (and money) at home?

Then you may want to check out the EnergySaver app, which analyzes, tracks, and displays your energy usage, so you can cut out unnecessary and phantom power demands.

If you don’t know the details of your electricity, gas, and water use at home, it can be tough to figure out which appliances and activities could be optimized or replaced in order to reduce wasteful consumption, and that’s where this app comes in.

EnergySaver helps users to analyze their current and past energy consumption rates, and then estimates future usage, not just by looking at the overall household power demands, but by analyzing each appliance’s energy draw.

According to the makers of the app, the Raj Organization, using EnergySaver can cut down on wasteful energy practices and save users money on electricity, gas, and water expenses.

“EnergySaver saves you money because it lets you easily identify and eliminate the times that energy is wasted. You can quickly identify which appliances are energy hogs. You can save up to 10% just on your electric bills by identifying and eliminating phantom loads.” – EnergySaver

Creating an energy profile on the app can be as basic as using some of the prepopulated appliance and energy data, or as complex as entering customized info for your exact devices and energy rates for more accurate profiles. Users can then view their energy use patterns, identify phantom loads, and see which appliances use the most energy (and which ones are used the most, in terms of time). Multiple energy profiles can also be set up in the app, for different seasons or different homes.

EnergySaver is available for both iOS and Android systems, for just $4.99 USD.
