From architect Robert Harvey Oshatz, the Wilkinson Residence is a uniquely designed space. The construction was completed over a decade ago, but this refuse-to-be-a-ranch-style home still deserves attention. An original presentation, the home is nestled into a slope which accentuates the outdoor backdrop. A nod to a tree house, the primary living area looks out to a treetop lined skyscape. This amazing tree house raises the bar pretty high for a play space. Constructed by architect James Curvan, the clients’ focus, obviously, was on children. Their grandchildren must have wanted to come over every weekend for a stay at this Texas tree house.
