This passive house design has both a solid, yet meet-and-greet style and lively green doors and windows that say welcome. The Leeuw House, designed by NU Architectuuratelier is an interesting construction, to say the least. Situated in scenic Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium, this home is not only unique looking it is also a model of energy efficiency. Zero Cottage Reconceives The Townhouse

From David Baker Architects, the Zero Cottage in San Francisco, California is an interesting space. The vertical construction was an addition to its neighboring building. Reinventing what the inner workings of a residence can offer, a multifunctional aspect was applied to the structure. The cottage portion consists of  712 square feet of residential living area, which is situated over a workshop.
