Top Ten Essential Oils and Their Health Benefits

Instead of spraying the air with pollutants found in air-fresheners, try burning some essential oils instead.

Not only do they smell beautiful, they can have physical and emotional health benefits.

Lavender
Relaxing, and also useful in treating wounds, burns, and skin care. Helps to balance hormones. Can be an antidepressant.

Peppermint
Useful in treating headaches and muscle aches. Great for indigestion and flatulence.This is antispasmodic. This also aids in dissolving kidney and gallbladder stones. Can be used as inhalation for people with colds.

Eucalyptus
This is also helpful in nervous system functions and respiratory problems, such as coughs, colds, and asthma. Boosts the immune system, and relieve muscle tension. This has an active antiseptic property that can work as a natural antibiotic.

Geranium
