Hair Care Naturally

Today there are many options when it comes to hair care, from styles to colors, you can customize your locks as much as you desire. Many products are out there to help achieve this. However, you must be careful not to use chemicals that damage your hair and environment. Luckily you can alter your hair without sending toxins through the roof or atmosphere.

Let’s start with hair enhancement. Enhancing your hair and keeping it healthy elevates your natural beauty. To add shine to your hair you can add apple cider vinegar to your shampoo or conditioner. If you are a fan of strawberries, eating some will strengthen hair molecules and can also add a coat of shine to your nails. Rinse hair with cold water. This keeps it strong and glossy.

Hair dying is an act many see as a means of expressing their personalities. Just changing your hair color a shade can create a new look and allow you to notice features about your face you didn’t know you had.

Black tea is great for darkening hair and giving it a lustrous texture. For a reddish hue, hibiscus is effective. To add some extra color to your hair it is good to add vinegar to the water in which the tea or herbs will brew. Vinegar helps saturate and preserve pigments. Mix one part vinegar with two parts water. Boil the mixture and let tea or other coloring steep. Add enough to get a rich, deep color. After the mixture has steeped, let it cool down. Soak your hair in the mixture for at least five to ten minutes, though it may be more effective to let sit for twenty.

To lighten hair, mix vinegar water with lemon juice. After you soak your hair, wash as you normally would.
