Learning about green home constructions and architectural elements is one thing, however seeing them as highly efficient, functioning, up and running living spaces is quite another.

At Blackle Mag we are always on the lookout for designs with an eco-conscious focus, and we have come across a few lately that have caught our eye for their environmentally inclined features and noteworthy appearances.

Exquisite and distinctive, the homes in this 3 part series will make you wish for a one of a kind green wonder space, too.

From the creative minds of Architecture and Vision, MercuryHouseOne is a home like no other. This contemporary ecopod has combined 2 concepts, mobility and living quarters. Large space lovers may be skeptical of mobile living systems; however this futuristic upgrade isn’t short on anything.

Constructed of aluminum and glass-reinforced plastic, the exterior is coated with a thin film of marble and presents a sheen, monocoque shell. It sits off of the ground via its 3 legs and an access ramp allows an easy entranceway.

Brought to life by semi-transparent solar panels that power up the whole house, it raises the bar for home entertainment expectations also, as sensory technology wasn’t something that was skimmed over.

The massive window lets the environment provide the focal point, and a change of scenery is always possible since the unit is mobile. It was modeled after the natural form of a water droplet which was selected for its organic quality and ability to fit into any outdoor area, allowing a space that truly lets the outside in.
